Do you want to be our new colleague and fill in an important role?
As Global IT Category Manager, you are part of a Global Procurement team responsible for managing and optimizing the company’s IT contract and vendor portfolio, while supporting and participating in the implementation of structured contract and vendor management in our IT organization.

Your key responsibilities in this role will be:

  • Develop and maintain category strategies within IT categories, ensuring implementation and adherence of each category execution plans in alignment with Businesses;
  • Driving relevant sourcing projects, contributing with category-specific knowledge, ensure all projects are in alignment with the individual category strategies (baseline, scope, strategy & recommendation), as well as rewarded contracts may be operationalized with clear KPI’s and SLA’s and defined governance;
  • Pro-actively manage key vendors, including vendor development, performance reviews and dispute settlement
  • Be accountable for delivering on the categories’ performance and savings targets.

    To succeed in this role and Nets’ culture, we believe that your background and personality should include the following:

    Professional qualifications:

  • A bachelor’s or master’s degree in economics, law or engineering with a broad as well as an in-depth understanding of corporate IT is preferred
  • 3-5 years of experience with Contract management of Software contracts 
  • Experience with Software contracts lifecycle from understanding business software demands, negotiating commercials and legal wording.
  • Experience with Category management planning, technology contract review.
  • Driven by creating financial overview seeking cost optimization opportunities 
  • Ability to create good relationships with stakeholders – internally and externally
  • Strong Negotiation skills and experiences with the major software vendors, taking responsibility for both planning and executing the negotiation process
  • Oral and verbal English business language skills and strong proficiency herein is needed
  • Experience from working in complex and international organizations is an advantage, as well as the ability to network with people from different locations, across cultures and management levels
  • Personal qualifications:

  • A business mindset, able to drive and implement procurement best practices within your categories, across businesses
  • Strong communication and presentation skills
  • Self-driven by being proactive and taking ownership to get things done and develop existing tools and processes
  • Analytical skills with attention to details and quality
