JOB SUMMARY

We are looking for an “ Industrial Controller”  to help us shape the future. Based in  Drammen, as an Industrial Controller  you will support the business in order to develop, maintain and optimize the controlling activities of our plant/business in Norway - center of excellence in Oil & Gas Offshore and Submarine Medium Voltage cables production. You will ensure the right level of support to the business leaders and act as the bridge to the Finance Corporate functions. You will also support the Plant Manager to constantly keep under control and reduce factory production costs -labor absorption, materials consumption, other variable production costs- through constant variance analysis, whilst being a part of our world class “SUM IT” career program.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Partner with the business owners to deliver the strategy according to the finance guidelines.
  • Review the business needs and partnering with the relevant internal stakeholders.
  • Manage the planning, budgeting and forecasting accordingly to the business needs.
  • Manage the inventory and investments activities as per requested.
  • Responsible for the performance and KPIs management.
  • Provide feedback and process improvement (automated and manual).
  • Update the systems and internal documentation accordingly.
  • Support top management in decision making process through ad-hoc analysis.

    • WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR

    We are looking for an Industrial Controller  who is eager to succeed and capable of moving in a heterogeneous market with resilience and a customer-oriented approach. We are looking for the following skills and motivations:

  • Degree in Engineering/Economics/Finance/Statistics or relevant subject.
  • Experience in cost management, budget management and industrial reporting.
  • Experience in industrial controlling, minimum 3 years.
  • Strong record of analysis and cost reduction.
  • Strong command of Microsoft Office, SAP is highly preferred; additional software knowledge is a plus (Qlikview, Programming).
  • Fluent in English.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, and capable of building strong relationships/networks.
  • Structured, accurate and detail oriented, with high work ethics.
  • High work capacity, comfortable with changing and challenging environments.
  • Enjoys working in a hectic environment and to work with strict deadlines.
