The Position

Agilent Technologies Services is looking for a new Field Service Engineer (FSE) responsible to deliver professional Service activities and provide support to the Danish and Nordic customers.

As Nordic Service Engineer with primary responsibility Seeland, Funen and southern part of Jutland, you will report to Nordic Service Manager. You will enjoy the flexibility and travel opportunity that comes with a home office.

Your responsibilities:

  • The primary responsibility of the FSE is to perform field service activities, such as instrument installations, periodic maintenance and troubleshooting/repairs. In addition, you will be responsible to provide responsive telephone and on-site support in a Nordic language or English, contributing to the overall Agilent Technologies team effort to maximize customer satisfaction with Agilent Technologies instruments and solutions.
  • The job is varied, and you will have a high degree of responsibility to manage your own work week, according to set priorities and in a cross-functional working team.
  • Phone/email communication with sales colleagues and customers/customer IT departments regarding technical requirements during a sales process.
  • Provide feedback and assist in defining specifications for further development of LIS products and tools.

  • Qualifications

    Your profile:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or equivalent experience with relevant training
  • Extensive experience (more than 3 years) in servicing medical diagnostics equipment and preferably knowledge and previous exposure to LIS integrations.
  • 2+ years of experience in a similar position or experience as an end user
  • Experience with troubleshooting and problem solving
  • Experience with the Agilent solutions is desired but not essential
  • Verbal and written communication is clear, respectful and timely
  • You enjoy travelling and visiting customer
  • Special skills:

  • Troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills
  • Fluent in Danish and English
  • Comfortable reporting field service reports and ordering spare parts through an IT system
  • Computer and Networking knowledge
  • Willing to travel more than 60 days per year.
