To deliver services on-site at one of our key partners/customers for Integrated Health Solutions (IHS) in Denmark we are looking for a patient and service focused Materials Management Analyst to assure optimal logistics performance around specified patient procedures in the Heart Center Vascular environment of Rigshospitalet.



**A Day in the Life**

We offer you a position where you are close to the patients, our IHS team and hospital staff. You will coordinate and control the day-to-day flow of products and information between the hospital and applicable parties in the supply chain to manage full product availability for patient procedures in scope at the Heart Center. You will be the point of contact for nurses and physicians for all materials management related questions and issues.



Whilst delivering excellent service in a demanding environment, you are challenged to meet business targets on service, value and costs. Looking for process improvements and efficiency initiatives is your second nature.



In this role, you provide a professional and high-quality service under very general supervision (work is reviewed for soundness of judgment, overall adequacy and accuracy). You enjoy being hands-on and establishing relations with very different key stakeholders in the hospital (physicians, nurses, hospital supporting departments and hospital management) within the guidelines of Medtronic policies and supported by our internal functions (Backoffice, Finance, Quality, IT and Regulatory teams) together with our business colleagues. You will be working on-site at the clinic from Monday to Friday.



You are encouraged to use learnings and professional training in continuously improving our service performance and setting the bar in the hospital and for other accounts.

Occassionally, travelling to related locations in Denmark may occur.



Responsibilities



Ordering, receiving and storing of products.

Ensuring (daily basis) accurate recording of consumption in procedures and being first point of contact on errors or issues. Understand what products are needed for what procedure.

Support new product entry planning and execution: partner with all applicable nurses/physicians and IHS teams to ensure timely set up, ordering and delivery through all applicable systems.

Waste short UBD (Use-By-Date) Management: implement initiatives to minimize waste (risks) and monitor trends via performance indicators.

Plan and run cycle counts.

Initiate process improvements in the area of materials management and consumption, to improve end-user experience and share knowledge and best practices with other accounts.

Be(come) the local expert for IHS Inventory Management system and all related issues, updates and enquires and facilitate interaction between our system and hospital system(s)

Maintain data accuracy, both Master Data and inventory data, and able to to coordinate and execute process validation activities (e.g. cycle count)

Monitor reports and KPIs for IHS teams and hospital teams including error logs and follow up on issues and feedback information.



**Must Haves**

Bachelors degree or similar

Service / customer focused

Experience in data analysis affinity with numbers

Strong communication skills (verbal and written), fluent in Danish and English

Process thinking solutions-oriented problem solver

Quality improvement focus

Ability to self-manage time and prioritize workload



**Job Experience**

4+ years of experience working in a hospital environment, or in a Supply Chain environment

Clinical or nursing background a plus

Project management and/or Change management experience

Lean Sigma expertise is a plus

Familiar with international multi-layered matrix organization

General knowledge of healthcare / hospital practices and standards

Expert/Pro knowledge of Excel and MS-Office suite
