In Group Finance, you will become part of 's Business Support. Group Finance numbers about 250 employees ensuring the financial backbone of COWI. As part of Regional Finance Denmark, you will help empower stakeholders, enable decision-making and create the agility that will strengthen COWI's competitive edge.

In Regional Finance, Denmark you will be part of a highly skilled team with a strong link to the business. Our focus is to provide analysis and insight for the business and to always think and act on being financial responsible for the business.

COWI is a project driven business, but in COWI Finance we also work with business analysis for on business line or COWI group level.

A POSITION THAT WILL PUSH YOUR DEVELOPMENT FURTHER

In this position, you will report to the head of section in the Regional Finance department and work closely with the project managers and other colleagues in the finance department.

We are looking for an experienced Business Controller and a strong analyst to support the business management with analysis, reporting, forecasting- and budget processes. As a Business Controller You will serve a role of developing new reporting and analysis across the four business units in Business Line Denmark. Your primary task will be to challenge the norms and look at data in new ways. You will also be a key in the transformation of the finance function into a more analytical and data driven team.

We seek a highly motivated person that dares to lead, challenges conventions, and has the potential to become a future finance leader in COWI. You need to be able to quickly establish good relations with senior leaders, be curious about the business behind the numbers, and have strong analytical skills as well as a holistic approach to understanding and communicating.

On a day-to-day basis, you will be responsible for:

• Driving budget and forecast processes

• Developing analyses on business performance

• Developing reporting of cost controlling and key figures

• Transversal analyses on business line Denmark's business units

• Developing dashboard and deliver business insights

To succeed in this position, you should :

  • Hold a master’s degree in business administration or economics
  • Have 2-5 years of relevant work experience from a business finance or business controlling department, preferably from a large company
  • Be able to identify and establish a relevant and broad network in an organization and are experienced with partnering
  • Be result driven and appreciate working on multiple tasks at a time
  • Have strong analytical skills and understand how to divide problems into relevant parts, securing quality in the details while keeping the overview of your deliverables
  • Be a strong communicator, have a desire for a fast-paced learning curve and thrive on working independently in new areas
