The Marketing department consists of over 150 employees globally. It is responsible for all areas of Marketing covering acquisition and retention for all business areas. Hereby, the department works closely with stakeholders from almost every area of the business. Global Marketing is a HQ function with the majority of the team sitting in Copenhagen but working closely with regional Marketing teams in local markets.

As our new ‘Global Go-to-Market Manager’ you report to the ‘Head of Go-to-Market’ and belong to the GTM team, which is one of the core pillars of the marketing department. The Go-to-Market team is responsible for bringing commercial initiatives to market, ranging from new product launches, marketing campaigns, as well as service offerings or price communications. Hereby, Go-to-Market is the owner of the marketing calendar, marketing budget, and marketing strategy across markets. A GTM plan, prepared for each initiative by the GTM team, covers target segmentation, competitive analysis, messaging, channel mix, budget allocation as well as a detailed execution plan for all touch-points. In this regard, GTM is coordinating the full experience journey with various departments inside and outside the marketing function (e.g. Commercial Owners, PR, Digital Engagement, Paid Media, Platform Development, Web and UX, as well as creative agencies).

As a ‘Global Go-To-Market Manager’ you will have the following tasks and responsibilities


  • Work closely with Head of GTM and local Marketing Heads on various marketing initiatives
  • Develop GTM plans based on commercial roadmap, performance metrics and insights
  • Deliver commercial initiatives from brief to finish (i.e. new product launches, campaigns, etc.)
  • Collaborate with creative, web, PR, and digital engagement teams to bring a full experience to market.
  • Brief, review, and approve deliverables of related workstreams
  • Collaborate with paid media team on channel mix, budget allocation, performance optimization and marketing asset development
  • Collaborate with commercial teams to deliver and optimize the Saxo experience (onboarding improvements, journey improvements, promo offerings, USP and message definition, etc.)
  • Partner with local marketing, commercial, and compliance teams for local input and approvals
  • Stakeholder management (coordination, feedback loops, presentations, performance updates, etc.)
  • Tasks

  • Leverage analysis and insights from local markets, paid media and insights/big data teams
  • Formulate GTM plans and marketing strategy
  • Map client journeys from acquisition to trading/investing
  • Formulate USPs and messaging
  • Brief GTM workstreams (creative development, web, digital engagement, content, PR, etc.), review and approve work
  • Provide guidance on channel mix, journey, copy, images, content etc.
  • Develop promotional offers and test effectiveness
  • Track key performance metrics and evaluate performance for future adjustments
  • Present initiatives and report performance to senior stakeholders

  • Strong background in the financial services industry is a must 
  • 5+ years of relevant marketing experience (preferably with a focus on digital)
  • Marketing degree
  • Fluent English speaker (other languages are a plus)
  • Deep understanding of the online trading and investing business
