We are looking for an Assistant Boutique Manager to inspire and manage the boutique team to engage the consumer of today and tomorrow to the brand by providing unsurpassed service to all our customers. At the same time, you will support the Boutique Director ensuring high image standards in the boutique, while being committed to the employee’s personal and professional development and growth. The position is based in Copenhagen and reports hierarchically to the Boutique Director. DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES Key Responsibilities: Manage and inspire the Boutique team Communicate the importance of image to the boutique team and sets a good example in “walking the talk” Conduct or appoint boutique staff members to conduct daily checks to ensure that window and in-boutique displays consistently reflect the essence of the seasonal line and are in accordance with the Chanel image. Ensure or appoint boutique staff members to ensure that the boutique environment is always in optimum condition from cleanliness to maintenance of furniture, fixtures and décor including the professional image of team members. Organize or appoint boutique staff members to organize regular inspection on boutique team’s grooming. Properly manage Merchandise & Inventory Effectively manage day-to-day Operations Rotate with Boutique Director and/or Ass. Boutique Manager on shift (including weekends) to ensure adequate supervision of boutique team on the floor. YOUR QUALIFICATIONS You understand the intangible value of being a role-model, acting in a courteous, professional, and knowledgeable manner. YOUR PROFILE You have a post graduate degree and an experience of 3 to 5 years in boutique management. You have a strong knowledge of the luxury industry with fashion sensitivity consistent with the brand. You are passionate about the field of the Fashion (design, texture, fabrication…). Your excellent interpersonal, communication and organization skills along with a strong analytic approach will be a real asset to succeed in this position. Excel skills are a plus Strong Danish and English communications skills are a must. THE ORGANISATION You will become part of an affiliate that has been established for a year, and which requires employees with an entrepreneurial mind-set, ability to operate within defined corporate guidelines, and a strong team orientation. In total, the organisation will comprise approx. 100 people across Scandinavia incl. Retail, Sales, Marketing, and Corporate functions.
