Master Data Manager – Global Supply Chain
LM Wind Power is implementing a new ERP system, and we are therefore looking for an experienced master data manager to drive data governance and transparency across the LM organization.
**Key to success in implementation**
Master Data Management is key to success in the ERP implementation. Anchored in Global Supply Chain, you will be globally accountable for securing our enterprise-wide master data backbone with the mission to support efficient and flawless business execution, transparency, and profound decision making at all levels across the LM organization. You will work out of our global headquarters in Kolding.
**About the job and expected capabilities**
As our new Business Process Owner (BPO) for Master Data, you will be heading the Master Data Competency Centre consisting of data experts in both Denmark and India.
To ensure alignment and coordination across the entire LM value chain, both you and your team will work closely together with other BPOs and their Business Process Experts representing other key functional areas in the business. Other key stakeholders include internal “customers” at the plants and IT ERP Consultants across LM and GE.
You will be responsible for:
+ Motivating and developing your team of MDM experts.
+ Developing, driving, and implementing the global master data agenda throughout the LM organization based on global processes, principles & standards, tools and governance.
+ Continuously enhancing, maturing and protecting the MDM area through active participation in business and IT projects including the ERP roll-out program.
+ Close cooperation with other functional areas including Supply Chain, Engineering, Quality, Sales, Finance and IT.
+ Creating and maintaining global processes, standards & policies, and ensuring implementation of these.
+ Monitoring and controlling the quality of our master data to ensure efficient business execution and fact-based decision making.
+ Ensuring availability of relevant tools and systems to support master data management.
+ Facilitating and driving the master data community by involving relevant stakeholders.
You hold a bachelor or masters’ degree in business administration or IT management. We expect that you have several years’ experience setting up master data, and that you have a deep understanding of a global manufacturing set up. You are familiar with IT/IS management and business process management. You have a general holistic business view.
