For the area of Wallonia, Brussels and Luxembourg we are looking for an Account Manager with responsibilities for Marketing activities for this region. This challenging role has plenty of variety, so you will need to be able to manage multiple customers, accounts and projects simultaneously and effectively. The core purpose of the role is to implement the ALK strategy and to maximize territory tablet sales, with current and potential physicians, prescribers, stakeholders and DMU’s/networks. Furthermore a Marketing strategy plan for Belgium and Luxembourg needs to be developed in collaboration with the Sales Manager and Marketing Manager Benelux.

Within the Account Management part this person is responsible for the sales performance of our immunotherapy tablet portfolio in an assigned his/her territory in BE. The Account Manager calls on HCP’s (mainly SPEC) and other relevant stakeholders within the allergy field to provide on-label pharmaceutical information in order to support the HCP’s allergy journey. The Account Manager implements the ALK business strategy within the region and in accordance with the national business plan. Maximizes territory sales performance, by implementing the Territory Action Plan (TAP) and local visit plan. Builds relationships with physicians, prescribers (incl. KOL’s), stakeholders and local allergy Allergy, ENT, Pneumo Scientific Societies to optimize the awareness, acceptance and use of ALK’s immunotherapy tablets. Implements ALK allergy projects with local customers and within local Scientific Societies involved in allergy treatment.

Complies with applicable laws in providing physicians with pharmaceutical samples and literature. Provides expertise and customer service to accounts, physicians, stakeholders and other medical/therapeutic clients within the allergy business. May gather data on market trends, competitive products and pricing to capitalize on selling opportunities. Works in close collaboration with Field Sales Manager, Marketing Manager and National Account Manager.

Withing the Marketing part this person takes care of the following tasks:
•Operational tasks relating to the development and implementation of our campaigns
•Material development with the support of sales team and Marketing Team in Netherlands
•Be connected with other countries to collect and share best practices, impactful projects and material
•Liaison between Marketing, Sales and Medical for Belgium and Luxembourg and the colleagues at our regional office in Almere, The Netherlands
•Digital communication and contact with medical journals
•Responsible for webinar organization

For this role we are looking for someone who has/is:
• University degree in a scientific or related field, and/or Business degree (M. Sc. level preferred) in a related field, and/or equivalent related experience
• Preferably sales representative experience within the healthcare field
• Driving license B
• Knowledge of and experience in the Belgian pharmaceutical industry
• Good communication skills in French and English. Speaking Dutch is an advantage
• Independent, must be able to work remote
• Self-starter
• Organised; able to work in a planned and project-based way
