ABB Electrification in Denmark is looking for an experienced Marketing and Communciations Manager to join the team. As part of ABB’s Northern Europe region, you’ll be part of a wider regional marketing and communications team with over fifteen countries. This role offers a diverse opportunity for the right person.
Reporting to the Northern Europe Marketing and Communication Lead, you will develop and manage integrated activities, programmes and events to deliver marketing and communications excellence within Denmark, and support the achievement of objectives and targets for the country, Business Area and Divisions.
Your responsibilities Strategy and Planning - Develop, implement and manage the local marketing and communications strategy incorporate the needs of all Divisions within the Business Area, to ensure consistency, relevance and impact, maintain a positive image of the company, brand, products and solutions among the identified target audiences, ensuring the strategy and plans align to the global, regional and local requirements and frameworks Digital Transformation - Play a key part in the in country implementation of global digital projects Help shape our digital communications for selected target audiences through analytics, monitoring and exploring new technologies Lead on initiatives to progress the 5Ds of digital marketing and communications - digital divices, digital platforms, digital media, digital data and digital technology – to lead digital best practice and transformation with the function Content - Create and update content and manage daily news flow on digital and social networking channels and platforms Communications - Lead on public relations activites including media relations, third party endorsement, issues and crsis management, awards submissions, influencers etc Lead on in country corporate citizenship and sustainabilty programmes, in line with global and regional programmes and initatives Support the Northern Europe regional team with local public affairs matters as required Lead on in country internal communications within Electrification, in collaboration with HR and other business areas as necessary Build and maintain strong relationships with new and existing key stakeholders, decision makers and opinion leaders Marketing - Creating online and off line marketing campaigns for across broad channels including website, apps, social, print and amplification through alliances etc Marketing automation / Pardot specialist and superuser Regular review and redevelopment of sales enablement materials to support sales teams to correctly position the brand and business area messaging and solution selling approach Development and execution of loyalty programmes for the customers and partners Manage internal intranet and external customer facing website Development of all event marketing plans: loyalty events, conferences, seminars, internal events, Ways of Working - Ensure executional excellence through the areas of responsibility for all marketing and communications measures in line with brand positioning, corporate identity and global strategy Collaborate with Northern Europe regional marketing and communications colleagues on monthly calls and other projects to develop increased synergies, efficiencies and concistencies across the region Implement and ensure compliance with relevant global and local standards, rules, tools, policies and processes related to operations/project execution Living ABB’s core values of safety and integrity, which means taking responsibility for your own actions while caring for your colleagues and the business.
Your background Degree level essential (Master in Communications and Marketing) Professional relevant qualification desireable At least 5 years’ relevant experience in a similar role Excellent English and Danish (written and spoken) Strong understanding of and adhereance to data privacy, marketing and communications regulations and codes of conduct Effective presentation skills, strong customer orientation and communication skills Highly organised, outgoing, technically versed and proactive personality Strong ability to work automomously with initiative, highly motivated, self-driven, proven track record of delivering results and strong orientation to bring things forward
