What you will be doing.

As SCADA Specialist, you will play a pivotal role in dynamic project initiatives focused on optimizing SCADA systems, with a clear aim to elevate monitoring, control capabilities, and data accessibility. In addition to this, your duties will include, but are not limited to:

Developing intricate technical specifications with precision, setting the stage for system excellence. Engineering the creation of seamless interfaces within systems to facilitate flawless data exchange and management.

Exercising vigilant oversight of supplier commissioning activities, rigorously evaluating results to ensure peak system performance.

Implementing a comprehensive review process for designs submitted by contractors and suppliers, ensuring alignment with project objectives.

Offering steadfast support to our operations team by proactively troubleshooting and maintaining associated systems.

Actively engaging in collaborative efforts within an international team, fostering the exchange of knowledge and harnessing collective experiences, successes, and valuable lessons.

The role is based in Silkeborg, Denmark and offers flexibility in terms of working hours and hybrid working environment.

What we are looking for.

A University degree or equivalent in a relevant technical or engineering discipline. A Master's degree or PhD is advantageous.

Minimum of 7 years' experience in HV/Substation and WTG SCADA systems, including the infrastructure that supports them, within the realm of offshore wind energy projects.

Hands-on experience in a spectrum of domains, including control systems, automation, SCADA systems, RTUs, IED and PLCs.

Experience with SQL-Server Query and Virtualization Platforms.

Experience navigating industrial communication protocols and an understanding of network-specific behaviours, with a particular focus on OPC-family, Modbus, MMS and IEC-104.

The ability to conduct thorough risk analyses and effectively implement mitigation strategies.

A willingness to learn about communication systems commonly used in offshore wind farms, such as IP Telephony, Tetra, VHF, 4G. Possessing prior knowledge or experience in these areas is advantageous.

Knowledge or experience in cybersecurity requirements for critical infrastructures is desirable.

Fluent in verbal and written English.
