    Position Description

    About the Opportunity: In this role, you will play a crucial part in shaping the future of our user interface development, ensuring the delivery of high-quality, user-centric applications. As a lead engineer, you will guide a team of talented web development engineers, fostering a culture of innovation and excellence.

    Key responsibilities:

    Lead a team of 4-5 web development engineers, guiding and mentoring the team to ensure best-practices and industry-best standards, including contributing to implementation hands-on. Foster a collaborative and innovative team environment

    Apply user-centric design principles and lead the development of quick prototypes for high-scale web-based applications, with a strong focus on front-end technologies

    Collaborate with cross-functional teams on technical design, work estimation, and implementation of new UI features, including visualization aspects and API design

    Document design and architecture, conduct code reviews, and ensure the implementation of best practices

    Work closely with other team members to define and develop solutions to complex customer problems

    Write clean, modular, and robust code to implement desired requirements with a keen eye for detail

    Participate in continually improving software development processes and practices, proactively explore and adopt new technologies

    Position Requirements

    5+ years of professional web development experience and motivated to guide and mentor a team of engineers

    Strong expertise in popular web development frameworks and libraries such as React, Angular, and in-depth experience with interactive visualization frameworks such as

    Proficiency in using modern interface design and prototyping tools such as Figma

    Awareness of web security best practices and common vulnerabilities to ensure secure UI development

    Excellent communication skills in English with interpersonal skills that promote a collaborative team environment with your direct team and members of other functional groups across geographically distributed sites and time zones

    Strong problem-solving and analytical skills as well as excellent organizational skills with a keen attention to detail and motivation to seek technical and personal improvement
