As the Product Owner, you will play a key role in collaborating with our users to understand their needs, translating them into product requirements, and delivering innovative solutions that address sustainability possibilities.     About the job
    As the Product Owner for a team working with digital solutions for Sustainability, you will play a pivotal role in advancing Arla's ambitions. Your primary focus will be on understanding the business needs, translating them into product requirements, managing a backlog of business needs and empowering our internal teams to deliver value across various domains. Specifically you will work on solutions in relation to product carbon footprint, supply shed management and data commercialization. You will collaborate closely with stakeholders from our agricultural, sustainability and IT teams.



    Moreover, your responsibilities will be to:

  • Collaborate with users and business leads to understand their needs and translating them into clear and concise product requirements.
  • Build and prioritizing backlog based on business value
  • Manage the product backlog, continuously prioritizing and refining it based on changing requirements and company dynamics
  • Collaborating with the Product Manager and other Product Owners within the Agile Release Train, including participating in and leading agile ceremonies including i.e. PI planning sessions, system demos, daily stand up etc.
  • Monitor and evaluate product progress at each stage of the process, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to sustainability objectives
  • Liaise with the product team and end-users to gather feedback and deliver regular updates on product development.
  • Ensuring adherence to agile principles

    • Who are you?
    To succeed in this role, it requires a candidate who has a matrix-oriented approach, deep business acumen, and excellent organizational and communication skills.

  • You have a relevant degree and ideally experience as a Product Owner or from a similar role working with the business.
  • You possess strong project management skills and have experience working in an agile development environment.
  • Your ability to translate user needs into clear product requirements and manage product backlogs is essential.
  • Finally, fluency in English is essential.

    • We are seeking a candidate who brings a combination of exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, enabling them to collaborate effectively with stakeholders at all levels. Our ideal candidate will also demonstrate strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
