    How to contribute to our vision

    For our Back End department within the Technology organization, we are looking for a strong and dedicated Product Owner.

    As a Product Owner you will lead the development of a sub-module within Nacelle Back End from concept to full serial production following the Siemens Gamesa PLM process. The project team consists of mechanical design engineers, structural design engineers and specialists within different areas of competences. The team leadership is founded on Agile principles and Intent Based Leadership.

    Your role will include but not be limited to:

  • Managing and prioritizing the team backlog together with the Domain Project Manager
  • Mapping dependencies and interfaces together with other PO's.
  • Development of concepts
  • Handling of learnings from prototype and 0-series turbines
  • Sparring with mechanical design engineers, structural design engineers and specialists
  • Collecting and applying feedback on the design solutions and balancing stakeholder's perspectives
  • Concept reviews and design reviews
  • D-FMEA
  • Design risk assessment
  • Overview of BoM structure and 3D assemblies
  • Establishing an active dialogue with internal customers and other key stakeholders such as: Prototype workshop, production, service, EHS, installation.

  • We are looking for candidates with a degree in mechanical engineering or similar technical degree.
  • You have already 3-5 years of experience as a Product Owner (Scrum Master or Technical Project Manager) in an Agile setup.
  • Solid experience with design and development of complex mechanical machinery is required. Preferably from the wind industry.
  • A solid technical understanding together with highly developed analytical skills and a strong physical understanding that lets you combine your skills with common sense.
  • You should have some experience with leadership and know how to be a good example through your general conduct.
  • You are structured and innovative, and your approach to task solving is both technically sound and commercially viable.
