Lisa Gattermann

Hey! My name is Lisa, and I recently moved back to Denmark to start my Master’s in Biomaterial Engineering for Medicine at DTU. After spending an exchange semester during my Bachelor’s in Life Science Biology at TUM, I decided to come back to Denmark!

Academically, I love challenges and enjoy learning new things, even though it’s always tough in the beginning. During my studies, I like working on projects and acquiring as much knowledge as possible.

In my free time, I enjoy doing different sports such as kickboxing, going to the gym, or running with my friends. I also love spending quality time with my friends, whether it’s going for a coffee or traveling together.

In the future, I hope to finish my Master’s and continue working in Denmark or Copenhagen. I love the ocean and the people I’m surrounded by!

I have experience in laboratory work due to previouse internships in different departments (plant systems and virology). 
During my studies I work as a tutor, in a Nature Conservation Organisation and as a Data Managment Assistant. 

I finished my Bachelor of Science in “Life Sciences Biology” at the Technical University of Munich this year (August 2025) and am currently enrolled in the Masters program “Biomaterial Engineering for Medicine” at DTU.
